3. UC researcher fishes for rare fossil ear bones

   Dr Michael Frese, an Assistant Professor at the University of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ and Research Associate at the Australian Museum, discovered hundreds of fossil fish ear bones (otoliths) in the Talbragar Fish Bed near Gulgong, NSW.

   A remarkable new project from two University of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ PhD students, the Equilibri Balance Ball aims to help reduce falls in the elderly and the balance-impaired, such as Parkinson’s disease sufferers.
